Reflective Essay 1

      Wix does actually give a lot helps, like it reminds me that there is a tool I can use for my future work or interview. Also, the platform is quite easy to use, since there is no complex function on Wix. However, even though I realize the benefit of Wix, I won’t use it as a tool later in my life.

       First, Wix has difficulty being seen. For instance, I have post and edit a new essay on my website. I search the title. The result shows me nothing. Then, I try to add the name of Wix. Still, google doesn’t put off my website to me. This is an important flaw that makes me do not want to use it, for I use it for being seen by people. If my stuff can not be seen, why I use it?

       Second, Wix is unfriendly for Chinese users and editors because there is no font comparable for Chinese characters. People that want to upload Chinese have to add the font in Wix additionally, which is extremely inconvenient.

        Finally, the worst thing that is Wix does not posses a well-structured system for editing words. When I want to add a picture on my website. Guess what??? The picture just covers right on my content not to mention that I also have to upload the picture additionally instead of use the mouse to move it and the picture is on. I don’t know why is so awkward when I want to add anything on Wix. Also, why do I have to move the letters to fit in my picture? It is obviously non-sense.

         In conclusion, Wix does really a good tool for me to train the editing skill but not for official or formal usages. Moreover, thanks to Wix, I realize that website is an excellent tool I can use somedays. I can try more website editing and make it become my value.
